Why are discounts uncommon in our craft?

All our instruments are handcrafted with care, with dozens of hours devoted to each one, using only top-quality musical materials. This is why discounts are uncommon for our family: we offer them only once per year, and some years not at all.

As a family-owned endeavour, our priority is not rapid growth through sales, but personal growth, a balanced work-life, and enough time for our families. Orders continue to increase, yet training a capable new luthier takes patience and dedication.

For this reason, we usually avoid broad, across-the-board discounts. We try to stay away from them as much as possible, because our goal is not to drive additional sales. At the same time, we want to express our gratitude to our community and take that extra step in making these ancient instruments accessible to more people. Some people feel comfortable asking for a discount when they truly need one; others do not.

This is for the latter.
